Introducing Xair East

We are pleased to announce the appointment of a new franchised Xair dealer in the Eastern region of England, John Anderson, who can offer the full range of Xair Aircraft and spares including the new D-Motor aero engine and the Duc range of propellers on a more local basis in East Anglia.

John qualified as an aircraft design technician (airframe) whilst working at Marshall Aerospace and served his apprenticeship at their Cambridge site working on all manner of military and civil aircraft including flying as an air test observer; he then pursued a career with the police and in addition to normal duties flew as a Police air observer (civil Defence) and is a qualified pilot.

John retired from the force to live in France where he maintained a group of Microlights or ‘ULM’s’ for his local French club which re-ignited his passion for aircraft and flying generally.

John now lives near Grantham and is able to offer the microlight enthusiast, everything from a new kit to the rebuild / rectification of a damaged aircraft to engine installation work, and has access to qualified personnel to service the Rotax range of engines and will soon be able to offer service facilities for the the new D-Motor himself.
